Gulluk Mountain National Park is one of the most spectacular areas in Turkey, situated at the foot of the Taurus Mountains to the northwest of Antalya. The national park is 34 km away from Antalya city centre.

Mount Gulluk National Park

Gulluk Mountain National Park is located within the boundaries of Antalya province in the Mediterranean Region of Turkey. This area is 6700 hectares, and was declared in 1970 as national park.

The national park has amazing geomorphologic beauties, in particular, the steep rocks of Gulluk Mountain and Mecene Gorge with its 600m walls. The forests and variety of plants are typical examples of the Mediterranean region. There are very rare species of wildlife living in the area, like wild mountain goats, roe deer, and great black eagle.

April and December are the best months to visit the Gulluk Mountain National Park.

Things to See

Gulluk Mountain National Park covering a large forested area is an important ecotourism centre in the region with its clean air, and rich flora and fauna.

The area around the entrance of the national park has been organised as a picnic site. There is a museum where there are displays of local fauna and flora. It is not easy to find what is to see where without having a guide but you can still trace it by studying the general park plan.
