Turkey's domestic airline industry offers frequent flights to many cities around the country, and all at very reasonable prices for local and foreign visitors.
You can fly between most of the major cities in Turkey quickly and easily with national carrier Turkish Airlines or local airlines Anadolu Jet, Atlas Global, Onur Air, Pegasus Airlines and Sun Express.
Domestic fares can go as low as 30€ one way, off season, with advance purchase. These days, with flights consistently full, it's a good idea to plan ahead, particularly if you plan on traveling during one of the major public holidays, national and religious festivals.
Tickets can be purchased online, at one of the airline offices, or through an officially recognized travel agent.
Turkish Airlines: Turkish Airlines is Turkey's national and Europe's best airline. Turkish Airlines is an excellent international airline with good service, a young fleet, worldwide routes to Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Australia and domestic connections to more than 40 important Turkish city.
Anadolu Jet: Anadolu Jet is a low cost, subsidiary airline of Turkish Airlines. Anadolu Jet operates from its hub in Ankara, and flies to all major cities in Turkey as well as Northern Cyprus.
Sun Express: Sun Express is a Turkish-German joint company, offers cheap domestic and international flights between Turkey and major Northern European cities including many destinations in Germany.
Atlas Global: Atlas Global is a charter airline operating low cost, now flies to a lot of cities in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.
Pegasus: Pegasus is the most established private airline of Turkey, offering cut price flights to major cities around Turkey and Europe.
Onur Air: Onur Air is the largest private airline company in Turkey, flies to 80 destinations in 20 countries and to 12 destinations in domestic lines.
