Turkey's Time Zones

The time zone for Turkey is Greenwich Mean Time GMT +3 hours (April-September) and GMT +2 hours (October-March).

Daylight Saving Time

All of Turkey is on Eastern European time, 2 hours ahead of London and Coordinated Universal Time (GMT/UTC), 7 hours ahead of New York, 10 hours ahead of Los Angeles, except during from spring to autumn Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight saving time (DST) gives us the opportunity to enjoy sunny summer evenings by moving our clocks an hour forward in the spring.

The main purpose of daylight saving time (DST) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.

Summer Time

DST, also known as summer time, always starts on the last Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October.
