There are hundreds of pavilions from the Ottoman era in Istanbul. Magnificent pavilions awaken a sense of nostalgia in Turkey.

Turkish Historical Pavilions

There are several royal kiosks or pavilions in Istanbul of Turkey, since Istanbul was the capital of the Ottoman Empire.

These historical pavilions were generally built in the 19th century and used by the sultans as a rest house or a hunting villa.

Most of the pavilions have been renovated today and opened to the public as museums or restaurants set in lovely parks and gardens.
